The Institut français d'Ecosse (IFE) is the Scottish outpost of the French Embassy in the United Kingdom and has been celebrating French and francophone cultures in Scotland since 1946. Each year the IFE produces Vvie le Fringe, as well as August festival programming of theatre, dance, music, visual art, literature, and other cultural and community events registered as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The aim is to represent and promote Vive Le Fringe and Instutut of France by creating set of posters which will promote their event. The concept of the posters was famous “Le Chat Noir" which is presented in more professional and personal manner. Also, the aim was to showcase the connection between French and Scottish culture.
