HAY | Salone Del Mobile

Every year the Salone del Mobile in Milan, a.k.a. the Milan Furniture Fair, is the biggest exhibition venues for furniture, product, lighting and interiors in the world. The Salone exhibition showcases the latest in furniture and design from 165 countries around the world. It is considered a leading venue for the display of new products by designers of furniture, lighting and other home furnishings. The aim is to represent specific furniture brands from different perspectives, and needs to entice visitors to enter the EXPO stands.

The existing branding of HAY does not feature much colour, instead the colour comes from the photography that highlights the colourful nature of their furniture. To make the brand stand out more from the competitors, graphics instead incorporated a large number of multicoloured gradients that mimic the interaction between light and form in the EXPO stand.
